The Crawford Public Library accepts gifts and donations from all sources. Library policy covers the gift of books as well as cash and estate donations.  It is hoped that patrons and former residents of Crawford will remember their local library with donations as well as remembrances in their will or estate planning activities.

Gift books and other print and non-print materials are accepted and are subject to the same standards as the print and non-print materials purchased by the library.  If the item is a duplicate or is not suitable for the collection, the library will, at the donor's discretion, (a) return the item to the donor, (b) attempt find another library source which can use the item, (c) sell the item at the library's book-sale, or (d) dispose of the item.

The library is happy to accept cash gifts and has a number of programs and services in effect or in the planning stage which readily can use additional funding. Please check with the Librarian if you wish to make a donation to a specific service or to the general operations of the library's public services.
